Healthy Haddon

On Monday, we went back to the lab for a bilirubin check and found out it had gone up again. We were very close to readmission to the hospital for phototherapy. The plan was to return Tues morning for another recheck. While we waited, we set up Haddon with all natural sunshine therapy. Today, we found out that his bilirubin had plateued, and he no longer needed to get rechecked! After 8 needle pokes, he was finally medically cleared.

He took a nice nap with his mom to celebrate!

Here is a picture from his first bath.

Here he is relaxing with dad. His new things is to grab your finger when you are holding the pacifier in place. It is really cute, and I am so glad we caught it on film.

We are so thankful to finally be done with morning checks at the lab. Thanks to everyone who was praying. We will continue to update with photos.

He's a very handsome young man! I'm pleased as can be to be related to the sweet little guy.

I am so glad he is doing well. Those heal pricks are the worst. That photo of him with the reflection has got to be one of the best baby photos ever!
