It has been difficult, but somehow we have adjusted to the low 80 degree weather of late July. After living in Houston we never thought it would be possible to wear jeans and a sweater in July, but today we did! We have enjoyed the outdoors. One of our recent outdoor treks was with Janae and Grace. We drove over the Golden Gate bridge to Point Bonita lighthouse. We hiked down the side of a cliff to get a closer look at some harbor seals and we also went to Pier 39 and walked around. Janae and Grace left from there to drive down to Santa Clarita while I went over to help at the Avon Breast Cancer Walk. I helped treat the participants in the medical tent, while Kara enjoyed the park and caught up on some reading.
This picture is a painting that we bought at Aaron Brother's for 88% off yesterday. This might be our deal of the year, costing us $9.50. Now we just need to decide where to put it.
