Frodo gets married

Kara and I were in CA last weekend for the wedding of Ryan Lunsford and Jennie Kay Smith. This day has been a long time in coming but the wait was worth it. Here is Kara and Megan during their lunch out together.



Here is Joe English and her brother Fritz who is visiting Joe from Germany. Joe is the Harrel's neighbor from San Antonio. You might remember me mentioning her in a past blog.

Here is a great shot of Dan and Katie Talcott at the rehearsal dinner. They recently purchased a Toyota Highlander which I rode in with Dan. They brought up the possibility of visiting us in Houston. They are brave and we admire them for their courage. There are 2 very small windows of good weather that I would recommend but of which are unpredictable in timing and length but occur around Oct/Nov and Mar.

Here is a great picture of Ryan's sisters Brianna and Janae who were both in the bride's wedding party. The bottles on the table are not alcoholic just as an FYI.




Here is a picture of the house and backyard where the wedding took place. It was absolutely gorgeous. The lady who owns the house takes care of the backyard herself except for the lawn, and it was amazing.

Here is a Ryan with Rachel Drollinger's baby Andrew. Give this pic about 1 year to mature and this will probably be Ryan with his own baby except for it will be a GIRL.

The wedding was one of my favorite of all time. We enjoyed catching up with many old friends. Some favorite moments were the moonrise during Ryan and Jennie Kay's dance, the flower girls and ring bearers running down the aisle to the exit music, and decorating Ryan's car. It was great to meet many of the people from Ryan's church in Ventura who were awesome and sweet. What a blessing to be a part of that body of believers.
