We recently gave our blog a facelift. The picture at the top with the boats is the beach in Cape May, NJ where we got engaged. It is one of our favorite places.

This past weekend we went to San Antonio on a whim. We woke up Saturday morning and thought we might as well go. We watched 1 1/2 Spurs games, ate burgers at Chris Madrid's (has become tradition, along with the phone call to Ryan to rub it in that we're at his fav. place). We think he's caught on, because he doesn't answer his phone anymore. Briana baked cookies (also a tradition), but not at the usual 10 p.m. Chance wasn't there. He was up in Canada tearing ligaments in his shoulder -- that's what you get for not hanging out with us.

We're moving on Feb. 23rd, but we don't know where we are moving to yet. We won't know that till March 20th.

We wanted to share something that Matt found in his dad's Bible. His dad annotated and Matt is going through for his devos. and reading all the notes. This is from Gen. 5 with the chronology of Adam and his descendants. We will list all of the names in order with their meaning and in the end connect them in 3 sentences to present the gospel message.

Adam = Man; Seth = Appointed; Enosh= Subject to death; Kenan=Sorrowful

Mahalel= To the praise of God; Jared=One came down; Enoch=Dedicated

Methuselah=When he dies it will come; Lamech=Poor and lowly; Noah=Rest and comfort

When you put it together it reads like this:

Man (was) appointed subject to death (and was) sorrowful. To the praise of God, One came down (who was) dedicated. When he dies it will come (to the) poor and lowly, rest and comfort.
