10 Thoughts for Month 10

Top Ten Things We Can't Believe Have Happened Recently
10. The thermometer hitting 59 degrees in October!
9. The Houston Texans with a winning record.
8. Being told by another customer in the store to buy 80% lean instead of 90% lean beef cause you won't have to add oil.?.?.
7. Running into a make-out session at our apartment pool. It was kind of funny because we had come to sit by the pool and read our Bibles. Matt was reading Ezekiel 16 at the time (very ironic).
6. A patient in the county hospital who actually refused pain medication.
5. Several red leaves, and a few yellow and brown ones too...in October.
4. We've actually started working out!
3. A local church is advertising a family bingo night with margaritas, wine, and beer.
2. A drug deal outside the county hospital where I had just dropped off Matt. Matt says that patients leave all the time to buy drugs, and no it is not therapeutic or prescribed.
1. Al Gore winning the Nobel Peace Prize. For a man who "invented the internet" and "solved global warming" (while killing off Tennessee's enviornment with his own mansion's energy consumption), he finally wins something. What does global warming have to do with peace?

#1 thing I can't believe is about to happen: Matt is about to become a Dr. Hopefully he'll be better in this profession than he is as a receiver for the Raiders. - Ryan
