Catch Up

So, we have a lot of catching up to do. Matt has been super busy. He has been at work or work-related events 20 out of the last 21 days. Sometimes the life of a resident takes over. Today, we were able to finally hang out and have a full day off. to recap, above is a picture of Kara's parents when they came to visit in June. Wow. Shows how far behind we are.

We also took a quick one day trip down to Carmel in July to visit the Fords. We met the Fords in Houston. They went to our church there, and we became friends. Dr. Ford is a retired Internal Medicine doctor. They are great mentors and grandparents. Every year they stay in Carmel for 3-4 months to escape the summer heat of Houston. Haddon enjoyed his first visit to meet them. We enjoyed the conversation and beautiful scenery.

Haddon is now a little boy and no longer a baby. He has hit many milestones since we last blogged. Some of you might have seen Kara's facebook where she posted videos of Haddon walking. He began to walk at 9.5 months. These pictures were taken today. He tried his best to eat my corn on the cob.

Here is our little guy playing. He now finally has 2 teeth that have poked through. He walked before he had a tooth. Something seems backwards about that.
