Scott and Aurelie, friends from Houston, visited us for a few days. We really enjyoed having them here. They flew into SFO, and so we started their visit with a tour of San Francisco. Here is a picture at the cafe at the De Young Museum.
One of our stops was "The Painted Ladies." You might recognize this famous row of houses from the introduction to Full House (Matt would like to make a disclaimer that he did not watch this show).
We also visited an architecture book store. Scott is an architect in Houston and knew of the store. down the street was this cool red wall great for pics.
We went a few other places and ended the day across the bridge at one of our favorite places, Point Bonita to watch the sunset. It was very cold but pretty. We spent the next few days hiking at Tilden Park, celebrating Mother's Day, playing Settlers of Catan, and shopping in downtown Walnut Creek. We are thankful for their friendship and are glad they visited.
