More fall leaves

Hi guys, I wanted to post a couple of more fall leaf pics. The leaves are beginning to fade and fall. This is Matt's first true autumn. Previously, he has spent every fall in San Antonio, Santa Clarita, or Houston. He is truly enjoying fall weather and fall color. Matt just received his new camera lens in the mail. We will likely hike this weekend along the coast and have some more pics for everyone to enjoy. The new lens is a pruchase made with med school graduation gift money so a big thanks to everyone who contributed.

Matt is now on vacation for 4 weeks!!! He has been spending his first few days off reading, relaxing, and researching. He is also very excited about the Titans 10-0 start this season. Kara's team, the Colts, are starting to improve and are now 6-4. She hopefully will again be able to wear her new Peyton Manning jersey with pride.

We both love watching Iron Chef America. The Food Network is great and very inspiring. It inspired us to collaborate the other night on a yummy tortilla soup (Matt's mom's recipe that was from Darcy Newton). It turned out great!

We are currently planning some fun activities for our upcoming trip to Kauai!!! We are praying it does not rain. We are looking forward to shave ice, Hawaiian pizza, kayaking, hiking, snorkeling, etc... Matt can't wait to take the new camera lens to Hawaii.
